Since Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, I’ve been thinking about the people and things I love. And since lists are relatively easy posts, I thought I’d list a few here.* This list isn’t comprehensive, of course, so these are just a few things that never fail to make me smile.

Listed in no particular order, here goes.

• The opening ceremonies for the Olympic Games.
• Texting with Joey during major events (like the opening ceremonies).
• Being silly with my friends.
• Serious Wednesdays at Stuff Christians Like.
• Glee.
• Doggie yawns.
• Being amazed by God as I read through the Bible. I finished Deuteronomy yesterday and wow! I am learning so much and I have many, many questions, but I can’t wait to get to the end so I can start again.
• Helping people get organized.
• Words.
• Non-acerbic wit.
• A really great song.
• Seeing how far I have come.
• Spontaneous dancing.
• Stillness.
• Cold cans of Diet Coke. [Joey: I thought about giving up caffeine, I really did, and I still might have to, but today is not that day.]
• Writing/blogging.
• People who are passionate.
• Playlists.
• The first day of feeling better after being sick.
• Getting rid of the old to make way for the new.
• Making peace with the fact that though it’s not a perfect piece of hardware, I’m so fond of my cell phone that I can’t imagine using anything else.
